Our Favourite Authors

We are beginning our look at famous authors by finding out about Dick King Smith. We are examining extracts from a number of his books and finding out about his life.

We will then be preparing a presentation to share with the rest of the class about our own favourite authors.

The following link will help you to enjoy all your favourite Dick King Smith stories:

Comparing African and Indian Elephants

Year 4 have been using their research skills to find out about the differences between African and Indian elephants. They read information texts carefully, skimmed and scanned for information and high-lighted key words. They then made notes and finally they are now in the process of writing a detailed comparative report. Look out for the display in school of the finished reports!
