Islam day
What a great day we have had! We had visitors in school from West Burton Primary School, an Imam came to take a special assembly, friends of Miss Akram came to paint henna patterns on our hands and we even had a visit form the Lord Mayor!

Handwriting Competition Winners
The standard of the entries in our handwriting competition was very high! Thank you to everyone for making such a huge effort to master our new joined cursive style of handwriting.
A number of children produced writing which will result in them being awarded a Pen Licence. This means that they will be able to graduate from working in pencil in their English exercise books to writing in pen - in the new joined handwriting style of course! The licences will be presented in assembly very soon!
